With the hot weather I expected the fish to jump in the net by themselves but they did not.

Insect activity has exploded and I have spotted the first dace surface feeding.

The warmer weather has jumpstarted spring and windflowers and cowslip are starting to appear in numbers.

The tally for today was 4, all different species.
