The annual fishing venue of the club was planned for today and so we joined
the worm drowners for a couple of hours fishing the mill pool.
My buddy had the day off for a chance ( … never go work in retail) so we
counted two flyfishermen today.

As usual we were more or less exiled to the shallow part of the mill pool that was
holding no fish (for practical reasons).
We still got hold of some of the rainbow trout and when most of the other anglers had
caught their limit of five bows we could move to the good spots.

We got the required five fish pretty quickly and started fishing for fun.
The presence of my buddy was not really appreciated by one of the last
worm drowners who desperately tried to get his five trout … meaning my
buddy was catching trout at every cast while the worms where left alone 🙂
